I'm getting organized for my upcoming signing. If you are a Minnesotan and love Thanksgiving night shopping, stop by Lisa's Second-Floor Bookstore from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. that night in Ely. I'll be there with both books and would love to say hello. This week, I'll have an article in the Ely Echo, too. I'm working with the local radio station to see if they'll give me some air time. As an author, you have to maximize your exposure. It's a huge world with millions of books out there. Publishers can and will only do so much - unless you become some famous author - and that aint me - yet! Until then, I need to pedal my wares. The Internet is an asset you can't ignore, but face time with fans and potential fans is important and a must-do in my opinion.
Avenging Allaire continues to be a bestseller at OmniLit and is making great strides at other retailers. I got 65 copies of that book last Friday and I'm seriously concerned I won't have what I expected for stock for my signing. I may need to reorder lickety split. A wonderful dilemma!
Next week I have a blog or two coming out at other sites. Frankly, I lose track of some of this because it's scheduled months in advance. I have one suspense author and a social media specialist planned for upcoming blogs here. You don't want to miss out if these subjects interest you.
