Love Bites: Dangerous Love

A friend, who's also a published poet, wrote that beautiful, intriguing taiga for Love Bites: Dangerous Love. It's a privilege to have one of his pieces on my site. (Just don't ask who the shy poet is, cuz I promised to take the knowledge to my grave.)
I don't know what was in his mind when he wrote it, but for me, the poem represents Jui's realization of her love for Wade and the power that love has in her life. The dew represents unknown danger she now faces because of her feelings for Wade. Complex, mysterious, illuminating emotions. Thanks for my taiga….
I've nearly finished writing Dangerous Love. I've learned so much! Here are five things you're going to love about the book:
- The characters are 3D. You'll be able to get into their hearts and heads. Hate, pity, love, fear, detest, and laugh at them. They're so memorable. Victoria and Dirk are new characters to fascinate you. Victoria is a manipulative, nasty vamp with an amazing link to Wade's past and to Ladislav Husek, the leader of the vampire nation. The Master Prophet, Dirk, is a decadent shape shifter that delights in doing all things nasty, evil, and mean at Ladislav's bidding.
- Jui's life is in peril. The mechanisms I devised to keep these supernatural beings them from turning Jui into a vampire are plausible, beautiful, and surprising.
- The plot is simple: keep Jui from being turned into a vampire. But the sub-plots are very rich. The story includes the planks for Love Bites: Redemptive Love. Yes, there's a third book in the works.
- The sex is erotic. Sizzling hot and blissfully romantic. There's a lot of variety and situations to keep your interest. I've also included a lengthy bondage scene that I'm very excited about. Special thanks to Sascha Illyvich for his advice on this complex subject and for reading the scenes when I finished them.
- Dangerous Love will be available November 22, from Noble Romance . Mark your calendar for this explosive, fascinating story that is definitely not your ordinary romance or vampire novel.
I'd love to hear your thoughts after reading this entry. Are you looking forward to the book? Do you have questions? I'll answer what I can without spoiling! The synopsis will be available very soon. A short excerpt is available on my website to read. Subscribe to my blog so you don't miss a thing.
Until the next time.

Loved the poem and picture that goes with it. Beautiful. Your book sounds really good. Sounds like you have a little bit of everything in it.

Hi Sue, I'll be sure to pass your appreciation to the poet. I admit it took me awhile to marry up the image and the copy but it sure is pretty! Might have to make it my screen saver for awhile! The book is loaded with suspense, drama, seduction, and surprises. You can meet Ladislav Husek in the Interview with a Vampire blog entry! thanks for coming by!

It's beautiful. I find power words in poems have meaning, that don't need to be a page long. Simplistic but powerful. I love the layout of your book Nov is forever away though!

Hales, thank you. I'll let the poet know to stop by.
If I were a faster writer, it would have come out November 1...but job, family, and slow working plotter that I am, well, I needed more time. I hope you will enjoy it - cuz you'll get to read what I learned in class with you...snicker snicker....
Best,
Margie
