Nearing The 18th Floor



I'm almost finished writing this extremely hot book for Sizzler Editions. What started out as kind of a one-night-stand for Alexa and Sebastian, has grown into a really interesting relationship. As I've said before, I'm a plotter, so I had fleshed out this story in broad strokes. Given that it needed to only hit around 30,000 words, I didn't do a really intense storyline arc. What intrigued me is how the characters decided they wanted the relationship to evolve. I was surprised when Sebi revealed he was a dominant. Alexa had no experience in the lifestyle and when Sebastian wants to introduce spanking to their sexual encounters she is wary. She'd once been badly beaten by a boyfriend. She left town and doesn't go back even though her parents live there.

It was interesting to see Alexa's openness to Sebi's needs and how Sebi was so mindful of her history.  Gosh, you just gotta love a man like Sebi - intelligent, strong, tuned-in, generous, oh, and handsome...yep, scores well in the physical aspects, too. There are some great scenes with Sebi's ex, too. Evangelique shows up and decides to meddle. Alexa may become a sub in the bedroom, but that doesn't mean she's taking any guff from Evanelique.
